1 Year of Sweet

It’s been 1 year since announcing Sweet and what a ride. In November, we launched Bindings and in February, FYCS. I’m so proud of the work we’ve done. Here is what's happened in JUST a year.

Bindings

Bindings has grown like gangbusters and here are some cool shares:

We even have some secret shares in our database from some cool creators (and publishers) for press reviews and internal work.

On Thursday we’ll be launching our subscription, shelves on Bindings which lets creators (or forward thinking publishers!) preview entire bodies of work. The goal of Bindings from the get go was to achieve this form; to solve my “Scott Snyder Problem”.

Find Your Comic Store

FYCS has been a slow build of making our data as accurate as possible. It's a WIP, for sure, and the community has rolled OUT! The goal is to have it all cleaned up by Free Comic Book Day.

Thanks to a kind post on Facebook by retailer marketing guru/dope human being Atom Freeman, I'm delighted to say over the weekend we've handled roughly 300 reports, 50+ retailers claiming their store to control their own presentation, and every morning I wake up to new reports.

Sweet Shop

We've been working on Sweet Shop since about November and are very excited with the publishers we've signed. Image Comics being the first big reveal, but we have a lot of publishers soon to be announced. Chances are if you're reading comics or Manga, we'll have the title you want at launch. More on this later this month...
