I’m so excited to announce Image Comics will be coming to Sweet Shop, our new digital comic store. You’ll be able to buy their comics on release day, in-app, worldwide (as titles allow) and read in our beautiful reader on any iOS or Android device of any size.

Image’s support has been key to moving Shop forward and we couldn’t be more grateful to the wonderful people behind the scenes who have dealt with our repetitive nagging, and charming annoyance. To that end we’d love to thank Eric Stephenson, Kat Salazar, Jim Viscardi and Lorelei Bunjes for trusting us to do right by their creators and working hard to help us.

And to those incredibly talented creators, we can’t wait to sell your books. We love them so much. It was Image comics that got me back into comics (digitally) and I couldn’t be more grateful for your work, which is thankless often, but delightful always. Our Promise to Digital Readers

And to digital readers! My people! What a ride it has been. All these stores closing and opening. Amazon not even delivering books on time. Exhausting.

The goal to you, beyond providing a much better experience, is to keep. it. going. We’ve taken no VC money and have multiple revenue sources (re: bindings) and barring zombie apocalypse that is our primary goal. To the surprise of many, we’re building a business, not something we can sell to the highest bidder or train robots to make shitty art with. 

BUT we will have DRM-Free PDF Backups available as stated above. Just in case you need comfort in said zombie apocalypse and the power’s out.
