Sweet Shop ❤️ IDW

In 1990, an 8 year old kid and his friends went to see a small movie about 4 mutant turtles and their rat dad. It was just about the coolest thing this kid had ever seen. Several years later, a collection of beautiful comics, painting a much darker but still wonderful story about these turtles from two gentleman named Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird was in my house as one of my first comics. 

From the Turtles to an Eisner nominated run of Star Trek, and some of the coolest Godzilla takes I’ve ever seen (I mean, they got Caroline Cash doing Godzilla). We could not be prouder to announce that the second major publisher in comics to join Sweet Shop for launch is IDW Publishing. 

On day one you’ll be able to buy all the murder bears and Sonic comics your heart desires. And when you’re done loving anthropomorphic takes, you can read the Pacific Northwest’s own G. Willow Wilson’s The Hunger and the Dusk. 

We’ve got fantastic originals like Liana Kangas and Scott Bryan Wilson’s Trve Kvlt. And a whole ton of Turtles. So many Turtles. Even the last of them. A true dream for a team of 90s kids here at Sweet, and coming your way this fall.
